Well, I've been so busy I almost forgot I had a Blog!! I started playing with glass and found it totally intriguing but very time consuming. So much so it drove me crazy taking sooo long to make just one bead. Frustration set in and the fun started to fade, so I took a break and started to look into replacing my hot head set up with a Mega-Minor :) A mixed torch, Propane and Oxygen, which meant running a propane line into my studio, purchasing an oxygen concentrator so we wouldn't have the hazards associated with having a oxygen bottle chained to the house and designing a proper ventilation system!
I had a bit of a set back with pancreatitis for a while in late October-early November and then started my quest to figure out a set up for my studio, torch, oxygen-concentrator, ventilation, the whole work station creation. That was what I've been working on since Christmas and finally got it all done a few weeks ago.
So now of course that's all I've been doing-or wanting to do!They say the with the economy that people aren't spending ecause finances are so tight....but it hasn't been that way for me. In fact the last two months have been my best ever. I have a new shop on etsy -- BaptimByFire.etsy.com -- where I sell the beads I practice making at a cost that is reflective of a beginners work. and for my finished Jewelry Designs I started my own website that is powered by Pappa Shop (they are a great host site) SannaDesigns.Net and I still have my Ruby Lane shop SannaDesigns.Rubylane.com and my first shop Sannadesigns.etsy.com.
Boy,.......... no wonder I forgot I have a Blog!! Sheww....Not to mention the picture taking, editing, descriptive naritives and the posting of everything to each site. Sometimes I feel like I don't have enough time to create =>( ... let alone spend time with my family, dogs, horses, clean house even, yuk! God forbid I should get really Busy, I'd really be in trouble.
Hopefully I will remember to make another post before the next six months goes by =)
