Just curious....how do you find the time to blog, I ask all you multi talented doers out there? It's becoming necessary in order to get your designs out there where they can be found....but I have to ask myself, "where do people find the time to blog, Etsy, Flicker, tweet, facebook and still create the things they love?
I, by far, am not as busy making items and filling orders as many of my fellow artisans and I find it hard to keep up. I want to know the secret! How can you wear so many hats and still get anything done?

Glass, Glass, Glass
Well, I've been so busy I almost forgot I had a Blog!! I started playing with glass and found it totally intriguing but very time consuming. So much so it drove me crazy taking sooo long to make just one bead. Frustration set in and the fun started to fade, so I took a break and started to look into replacing my hot head set up with a Mega-Minor :) A mixed torch, Propane and Oxygen, which meant running a propane line into my studio, purchasing an oxygen concentrator so we wouldn't have the hazards associated with having a oxygen bottle chained to the house and designing a proper ventilation system!
I had a bit of a set back with pancreatitis for a while in late October-early November and then started my quest to figure out a set up for my studio, torch, oxygen-concentrator, ventilation, the whole work station creation. That was what I've been working on since Christmas and finally got it all done a few weeks ago.
So now of course that's all I've been doing-or wanting to do!They say the with the economy that people aren't spending ecause finances are so tight....but it hasn't been that way for me. In fact the last two months have been my best ever. I have a new shop on etsy -- BaptimByFire.etsy.com -- where I sell the beads I practice making at a cost that is reflective of a beginners work. and for my finished Jewelry Designs I started my own website that is powered by Pappa Shop (they are a great host site) SannaDesigns.Net and I still have my Ruby Lane shop SannaDesigns.Rubylane.com and my first shop Sannadesigns.etsy.com.
Boy,.......... no wonder I forgot I have a Blog!! Sheww....Not to mention the picture taking, editing, descriptive naritives and the posting of everything to each site. Sometimes I feel like I don't have enough time to create =>( ... let alone spend time with my family, dogs, horses, clean house even, yuk! God forbid I should get really Busy, I'd really be in trouble.
Hopefully I will remember to make another post before the next six months goes by =)

Help.....I've been bitten by the GLASS Bug!!!!!!
I attended the Bead and Button Show in June and came away with a wealth of new knowledge! I was so excited during my 7 days of classes that I became well known for my beaming smile and eager, enthusiastic deminer.
I learned to work with silver metal clay (PMC) and was so inspired that I was ready to take all the certification classes right then and there. I then took several lampworking classes. And upon my return home I found that the more time I spent at the torch the more time I wanted to spend! I do so love working with the fine silver but the challenge of the glass has been addicting!
I have to find a way to intigrate an oxygen/propane torch into my work area. But right now the cost of that set up is beyond my reach so I'll have to be content with the hot head, all those empty yellow mapp gas containers that are laying around because I haven't found out how to dispose of them, changing those bottles out every 3 to 4 hours as they go empty and working much slower than my brain wants to deal with..........sighhhhhh!
